  • I'm all about exploring the exciting world of neuronal RNA regulation and metabolism. Our research dives deep into the molecular secrets of the brain, utilizing human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived neurons, Xenopus retinal ganglion cells, and mouse neurons. We’re particularly interested in how temperature and stressors affect synaptic dynamics within complex neuronal networks. Our goal is to discover effective ways to understand and tackle neurological disorders! At HKUST(GZ), I am having a great time collaborating with experts in bioelectronics, nanorobotics, and data science to develop groundbreaking projects that challenge conventional approaches. The creativity and teamwork involved in these endeavours are truly inspiring! In addition to my research, I am passionate about STEM education. As a course instructor for UFUG1401 General Biology I, I love engaging with students and sharing exciting learning experiences. I also had the privilege of mentoring the 2024 HKUST(GZ) iGEM Team—a group of passionate coral enthusiasts dedicated to developing genetic solutions for marine conservation. I’m thrilled to continue this journey with the 2025 HKUST(GZ) Team! I look forward to connecting with fellow researchers, students, and anyone who shares a curiosity about the brain and its mysteries.
