Greetings, I am Xuanxuan TANG, a 1st PhD student. My research focuses on the role of ribosomal heterogeneity in the regulation of translation. I have a background in chemical engineering and previously worked in the automotive industry for two years as a research and development engineer. However, I gradually developed a deep fascination with unraveling the underlying mechanisms behind various scientific phenomena. I believe my engineering mindset can help me better explore fundamental questions in biology. I'm quite the sleepyhead, but I will live my life and make my work mean something to this kaleidoscopic world that I hold dear.
